John Romero him self released this today (15/01/2016) on his facebook page i'm just sharing this here and obviously take no credit for the work done. He tested it in ZDoom 2.7.1, Crispy Doom

6Axis is Jimmy's first attempt to make Doom slightly more realistic. Only slightly - there's certainly no Brutal/Beautiful Doom-level aesthetic enhancements going on here (hell, there aren't even new GLDEFS or TERRAIN definitions :o). Though it does introduce a few modern elements into the gameplay of the game we all know and love - such as inventory items, player morphing, weapon zooms and upgrades for the player's attributes and arsenal.

Episode 4 first map. This wad was originally created for an ancient project called the 9th Gate. It has been about 5 years in the making and I finished this level like 3 years ago! (It took a long time, but I finally finished it and was pleased with it). I've replayed the level today and I thought it would be a good idea to release it as I spent a lot of time on this and the 9th Gate is taking far too long to finish. Here is one of my best levels... probably :D. I made this 3 years ago (after ROTGS... I think... not sure...). This is Also another of my rare Vanilla levels (has no special effects, relies on good gameplay to make the level good... Curunir should be pleased ;) ).

The Hazard Variation
This is a map that was created in 2003 as "E4M1: First Gate" for the project "The Ninth Gate". However, as that project remained incomplete, this map was never released. Now that the maps from the project are being released individually, you can now play what would have opened that episode, retitled as "The Hazard Variation"! I actually made another E4M1 back in 2001 for the project but as that was too primitive, it was discarded and replaced with this. I am eventually planning to release an updated version of that map as well. This present map is one that I am really proud of. I think it turned out nicely in both the looks as well as gameplay department. It's quite an easy map as it was supposed to be the first level in an episode. Still, I think the pacing of the level is good and I hope you'll have fun playing it! Interesting bit of trivia: this WAD file's size is 666 KB.

Only tested on Zandronum port. I used as a basis brightmaps by Z86, the textures of objects, items and monsters are his only edited the textures of the playstation version, also added glow flats. If you want some change is just talk. I hope you like

This is the first skin I've uploaded. I wanted to make the base player skin a bit more interesting so, as you'll see, I've added a few things to the marine's outfit such as demon-like horns and some spikes and studs on his shoulders, helmet, and boots. Also, ive added red coloration to the helmet and tried to give the appearance of a hud on his visor. I like to pretend the emblems on his chest indicate his level of security clearance ( get it? red, blue, yellow keys }and finally, there is a skull emblem on his back. its low quality but this is my first skin so, I hope you enjoy! just drag and drop the .pk3 into zdoom.

Marshal James Anderson from Lucasart's 1997 game Outlaws. This skin replaces the base player skin, I'm new at this and am unsure of how to make it a separate skin from the base skin. I did not create these sprites, All credit goes to Outlaws. I just edited the original sprites to work in doom. Just drag and drop the download into ZDoom or GZDoom. ******** I have edited the skin so that it is not the base skin by default and can be selected by the player

The new creation of Another Year After creating john romero With the Toxin Refinery in the rear-view, you make your way to Phobos Mission Control where the computers crunching the data from the Phobos Anomaly are located. You need to use them to gain access to the Phobos Lab, but remember hearing that the computers were tied into all areas of the installation and that you never knew when the environment around you would change. You need to keep your eyes alert to all movement - this place is not what it seems...

I created this Doom map on the 25th May 1996 so I thought it was about time I uploaded it. I haven't touched Doom modding since but I recently rediscovered this map on one of my old CDs and ran it using the Doomsday engine and remembered all the hidden doors. I created this map using part of Stony Stratford High Street in the UK. Only the real thing is a lot more terrifying :) It's a level 1, map 1 mod map but as I say you can load it and play it using Doomsday or Legacy Doom, or even normal Doom if you create a bat file with the wad name (I remember doing that) e.g "doom.exe -FILE HELLSTREET.WAD" Screen preview taken using Doomsday engine and mods (not needed to play this).

The other map I made 20 years ago, but it was left at an empty map with just multiplayer starts. I have downloaded Doom Builder 2 and finished it off with enemies, key card doors and exit. It was designed to be a Starship Enterprise not an exact layout but I've included engine areas, holodeck, bridge, officers meeting room, captains room and turbo lifts. It's different I suppose. :) Runs as Doom map E1M1 or Doomsday Engine and most likely Legacy and other engines too. Not sure what the dbs file is all about but Doombuilder 2 created it so I kept it with the WAD. Ps. It has multiplayer and deathmatch start points as well as being a single player map.

PSX Doom for Vanilla Doom
Here is a small WAD that changes the Doom hud with a new one in the style of the PSX version. The layout is changed to fit with the PC original. This WAD also replaces all sounds to the sounds from the PSX Port. I've also included a DeHackEd patch where it just changes the speed of the weapons to similar speeds from the PSX port (this is mainly for people that had the PAL version where the weapons were faster, if you had the NTSC version ignore this patch) This is all intended for Vanilla Doom so it should be compatible with all Doom sourceports! Enjoy!
